Soo...Once again, it takes me a long time to do a new blog...i use to be so good at this, no so much anymore...oh well...i dont think many people read this anyways haha, and if you do, i apologize for being the worlds worst blogger.

Im working on DJing, i guess thats something. im just working on my skills right now, music production can wait until i get a better grasp.

Uhhh...what else? Hmmm...been to the lake a couple times, which has been awesome. Been outside in the nice weather, out on the boat, seadoo, doin some paintballing, swimming, wakeboaridng, all that good stuff. I love it out there. Like my get away from real life. Its soothing there. Peaceful. Serene

Im super stoked on this weekend, as Im going to see LMFAO for the 2nd time at the Bank Tent Party, which will be amazing!!!!! Sooooo excited. I love LMFAO! Soo awesome

I dont work at Don's Photo anymore, sadly. meh, sall good, jsut gotta keep on truckin.

I am currently in the midst of learning and refining DJing, learning to spin, produce my own

tracks, and all such like that. I am currently mixing an all David Guetta Mashup of all of his

best beats, so stay tuned, ill have it uploaded on the net soon! Its Called "Guetta Life"

This is the Album cover if anyone cares to have a look at it. I tried to follow the same theme as Davids other singles from the "One Love" album. Its not perfect, but considering its 100% scratch (thats right, no copy and pastes in this file) id say its alright

Im getting a job in construction, so ill be making maddd cashflow this summer.

Holy crap...I havent been this tired in a looonnnggggg time...Its kinda unnecessary...sleep at 6 in the morning...wake up at 9...why couldnt i sleep last night...uggh...not cool man, not cool

Soooo, this last weekend, the girly competed at the Ross Shep Cheer Competition. She did so good, im sooo proud of her. I also got some pretty good pictures too, not as many as i usually get, because I had my auto focusing system set to the wrong setting, so come of the images, instead of the cheer leaders in focus, the background is...which is kinda a bummer, cuz I had taken so some prime shots, that were outta focus. Oh well, at least I got some really good ones.

The beginning to another week. I hope this one goes well...Im drained...Ive been busy pretty much every single day for the last 2 months, and this weekend (unless im forgetting something) finally presents an opportunity for some R&R...which i need heavily...its been non stop for so long, i need a day, where i just do...nothing...or just relax with the lady and watch a movie...or anything that doesnt involve...activity hahah

Sooo, lots to update on.

This past weekend, on the Friday, My lady competed in another cheer competition! They Won Second!! Sooo proud of you hun!! So, At their last competition, The team coach said they would be interested in hiring me as their personal photographer to shoot all their teams and get paid...so i spent literally days editing and putting together a portfolio to present to her coach...I show up, takes like 3 minutes to look at 2 pictures, and then just said they didnt a professional. I found out she got someone else...after saying they would want to hire me...so unprofessional...uggh. Oh well! I had fun shooting my girl. And ill be there this weekend for her next comp, so that should be a good time.

Also this last weekend, my cousin from the sask came to E-town to go shred the gnar snowboarding. Twas a good weekend indeed! So hot! Plus 14! DAMMIT it was hot! T-shirt ftw? I think so!

Good movie. Green Zone. Very in depth look at what really happened with the WMD's in Iraq in 2003, which started the War. Its an awesome movie. It looks like Bourne 4, but it does have its own unique feel versus the Bourne series. Its an awesome movie, and i would recommend it!

BTW, i need photography jobs...please...anyone? Anything? Maybe? oh god...lol

SOOOO!!! Another week as come and gone, and its kinda depressing, as i only get sunday off...I wish i had a weekend again...I have to work tomorrow too...ugggghhhhh! Oh well. I might head to the mountains again this weekend, so it could potentially be a gooooooooooood time.

So, ive totally decided i know what im going to save up for...A 1994 mrk IV Toyota Supra TT!! :D I want that soooooo bad!! Such a nice car! and i know exactly what im going to do with it. Exterior Pretty much stock. Painted White. Enkei Evo 5 Rims. Black tinted windows. But then jsut beef up the engine to epic preportions. I cant wait :D

Hey Hey Hey!
So i know i know, its been another week...i kinda wish i knew SOMEONE was reading my blog...would make me more motivated to wanna blog more...cuz for all i know this is just wasted space and no one gives a shit about it! BUT, i will continue on!

Sooooo...This last weekend, i FINALLY got to go snowboarding!! Soooo pumped about that! It was so much fun to get back out on the slopes! Had some madddd tumbles, but still an epic time! Snow was meh, but thats spring riding for ya!

Its march, and I havent had a chance to go snowboarding all year...this saddens my soul...BUT, thankfully, I'll be going this weekend with my buddy to banff, so it should be a good time! Finally get back to the board...its been wayyyy tooo looonnggg!!!

The city has been super warm the last few days, like plus 1-4 all week, even getting up to as high 8 I think my jeep said...im happy and sad about that. Happy its getting warmer, sad that snowboarding time is slipping more and more.

SO! I was reading one of our many bathroom readers at my house, and Read that in todays current currency and time, it would take 15 septillion dollars to build a death star...thats one trillion times mroe than all the worlds currency...lol...anyone wanna get started?

If you havent already, go out and pick up his newest album "One Love". Such an amazing album! Lets hope Guetta is gonna be around for years to come!!

Mondays

I dislike Mondays with a passion so strong, if i could, i would kill it with my bare hands...ok thats alittle gruesome, but still. I hate em. I like my sleep. And i use my weekends for sleep. So when i sleep in on sundays, its hard to sleep on sunday night. So, thus, im tired for monday at work. Its a hay nus cycle, and it sucks so much...uggh

This last weekend was my bros bday, and i gotta tell ya, that was one crazyyyyy night. had a lot of fun! I hope my bro did too!

I cant wait til i get home tonight...sleep at 11...god i cant wait...*yawn*

I cant think of anything else to put...my brain feels like mush...

WOOHOO!!!

ITS THE WEEEEEKKKKKEEENNNDDD!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!

Fuck it will be soooo nice to be able to sleep!! Uggh i feel like every morning that i wake up and try to go to work it just seems that I never have enough energy...Its depressing :( So, weekend, get ready cuz Im gonna sleep the fuck outta you!! :D

So, the girlfriend is outta the hospital and recovering and just getting better by resting and such. I miss her quite a bit, so i hope i get to see her soon <3

Im all done editing the pictures I had taken at the Cheer competition last weekend. Out of 605 pictures that were taken on one camera, about 70 were decent. Im going to consult with my girl for a final opinion of which are good or not. I had another camera with me at the competition, loaded with a wide angle lens, and shot about 150 pictures, so I have to go through those. Then, Ill stick em on a CD, give it to my girls cheer coach, and shes going to see if there good enough for me to become their personal photographer, which means Ill be getting paid!! Ill be a professional photographer!!! Im soooooo excited! My dream is finally coming true of starting to become a pro photographer. I mean, dont get me wrong, i have soooo much to learn, but its finally starting! One step at a time!

For anyone who cares, at the competition, my loadout was as such:
-Canon 7D Body
-Canon XSi Body
-Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS
-Canon 85mm 1.8
-Canon 16-35mm 2.8 L
-Canon Speedlite 580 EX II

All were phenominal items to have, but i shot with the 70-200 on the 7D primarily and then had the 16-35 on the XSi loaded with 580 EX II. I used the 85 a little, and with its F/1.8 speed, made it really easy to capture light, but i used the 70-200 most of the time as its versatility made shooting much more fun. I cranked up the ISO higher then i would have liked to, but the 7D still put out some magnificent shots.

Late Post

Wow, I have not been very tentative with posting. Nothing for a couple days. Holy crap i am sooooo tired....its only 10...ive been at work for like half an hour...and im dying...this is not going to be a fun day...Ugggggggggggh!

My girlfriend went to the hospital this past weekend after her cheer competition. She had her appendix taken out. She doing fine, and is back at home! So I spent most of my weekend there with her :) Im glad and relieved that shes gonna be just fine :D

Speaking of her cheer competition, it went really well! i was so proud of her, getting through the competition in pain. And her whole team did well too! I was photographing the event, and i got a lot of good shots!! IT was actually a lot of fun too! it was a good time :)

I saw Edge of Darkness last night with my bud. It was actually really good. Mel Gibson is proof that even at 55, someone can still be one badass mofo! I really enjoyed it!

ANYWHOOOO!!! Again at work, got paid today, wasnt as much as i thought it would be :( I need to make more money somehow...ugggh...having debt succckkkkssss!

You may have read my post on AnF a couple days back! WELL! Im leaving that place as soon as my fav manager leaves. After that, there will be no point in working there anymore. Fuck Abercrombie...that place is the most shallow and degrading place in the world!

On a lighter note, my girly girl's Cheerleading competition is tomorrow and im shooting it...AHHH! Im pretty excited! not gonna lie! First Cheer shoot, so i hope all goes well :D

Watched Total Recall last night, and i gotta tell yeah...its a good movie, but its fuckin weird!! Classic Arnold Schwarzenegger, so of course it was ballin, but it was just plan weird. Id recommend seeing it though if you havent :D

Im going to the Edmonton Auto Show tonight to take some shots of the sexy cars that will be there! That should be ballin'!! :D

Probably one of my favorite music artists to date, LMFAO changed my music listening forever. Pretty much love all their songs, they are seriously one of the best groups to emerge in years. Some may give them shit, but their music is bumpin, their style is sick, their live shows are probably the funnest thing i've ever attended! They bring people together and give some of the sweetest music ive ever heard. Simply put, LMFAO are frickin geniuses and are the True Party Rock Gods!

Bahaha, that font is totally the same font AnF uses for all their shit. So i work there, part time, and have for about 15 or so months now, and i gotta tell ya...that place is a shit show...fuck. Lol, yeah its not that bad a place to work, but I gotta tell ya, the only reason Im still there because 1.) Being there so long, its nice to have some seniority and experience 2.) Some of the people that work there are awesome!! You know who you all are :D 3.) The discount is nice from time to time on Jeans and such 4.) Im Model Lead, so im awesome! BAHAHAHA! and 5.) its where i met my darling Girlfriend 10 months ago, so i guess its not such a bad place...its just...working there is bad...thats all...hahaha. To anyone who considering working there in the future, learn these 3 things. 1.) Listen to the senior employees and get on their good sides, your life will go that much smoother 2.) Sue is the shit, and the best person ever, so work hard for her. and 3.) the place is shitty, but it could be worse, just keep a good attitude, do what your told, dont fuck with the senior emplyees and youll do jusstttt fine :)

So, Im tired as fuck today...i need to start getting more then 3-6 hours of sleep a night...I think its really starting to reek havoc on my body. TIRED GOD DAMN IT!

On a plus side, I like my job enough that waking isnt tooooooo bad :D I mean, sure, no one likes waking up, as sleep is one of the greatest things of all time, but work makes it alittle more bearable.

Today should be a good day too. Im heading to the mall to get an unlimited pass for 6 months with the girlfriend. Every and any attraction, free unlimited use. Life is going to be goooood :)

Next weekend Im going to the Agricom to photograph some cheerleading competition. The girl cheers on a team thats competing there, so she wants me and my "sweet" photography skills to work. Ive never shot cheerleading before, so it shall be interesting.

Oh, on a side note, before starting my job, I once thought I had mad photography skils...after working at a photography job...I have learned i am no where NEAR good! I have a lot of work to do, and i hope to go up from here :D

So, here I am. Blogging about my life. All things that are interesting to me, my life, and the things around me. Music, interests, highs and lows, and everything in between. Anything and everything to do with the life of Brett.

This is my first blog entry, and its kinda cool. Im at work right now, and its a decent gig. I get the opportunity to learn and experiment with one of my more predominate interests; Photography. Something that has been apart of my life for so many years, is now involved in my day to day, which is phenomenal! But, man, listening to Sonic FM day after day is making my brain bleed. Every once in a while I'll hear some RHCP, or alittle AFI, but hearing Teaghan and Sara over and over again like 8 times in one day, and listening to the god awful Paramore equally as many times, could make a man go insane...nothing against that music, just not a fan of them, nor hearing them once every half hour.

Speaking of Music, I've been listening to a lot of Armin van Buuren lately, and i gotta say, he is one of the greatest DJ's I've ever heard. While always a die heard Tiesto fan, Armin brings a new style and feel to trance and electro. I love experiencing a new song, and just feeling the music. Music is a big part of me, and lots of my posts will involve it in some way or another.

SO, its mid January, and i have to yet to go Snowboarding...which honestly makes me more sad then anything...Something I hold so very dear to my heart, and have a passion for, I havent done yet! FFS! I need to go out and hit up the mountains...or Rabbit Hill for that matter! SOMEONE SAVE ME!!

SO, as my first blog comes to close, I feel this will be a good thing for me, and a way to express myself to the world, if anyone cares lol :D
